Imagine a place where your child feels accepted, loved, and can’t wait to come to church week after week…A place where kids learn to Love God with worship music, reading God’s Word in the Bible, and prayer…A place where kids learn to Love Others by building meaningful relationships with the leaders and other children and serving together in our community…A place where kids learn to Make Disciples by inviting friends to church and special events, and being comfortable sharing their faith with others.
That is what we strive for in our children’s ministry (KidMin C-Group) at Edinboro Community Church. We are here to partner with parents to bring their children up to Love God, Love Others and Make Disciples.

Sunday Morning KidMin C-Groups
At this time, we offer Nursery and KidMin C-Group for PreK-4th Grade on Sunday mornings during the worship service. Classrooms are decided from year to year depending on the number of children and number of volunteers.
Our primary curriculum is from The Biggest Story where every age is on the same page. This means adults and children learn the same passage of scripture each week and is used starting at birth. As children move through KidMin, our goal is to teach them to Love God, Love Others, and Make Disciples.
Nursery (Babies – 3 years old)
In Nursery, our littlest ones are cared for through play, songs, books, and a short, simple Bible lesson for older toddlers. Volunteers help lay a foundation of God’s love while providing a safe and welcoming space that allows parents to freely worship.
KidMin Classes (PreK - 1st Grade & 2nd - 4th Grade)
After joining their parents for worship, children are dismissed before the sermon for an engaging time in KidMin C-Groups. Each class begins with prayer, a Bible story or video from The Biggest Story, and a few simple questions to encourage understanding. Kids then enjoy a mix of activities—crafts, games, and snack time—that reinforce the lesson in fun and meaningful ways. Teachers lead discussion and application, helping children connect God’s Word to their daily lives. Older kids also open their Bibles together for deeper study and questions. Class wraps up with “Come and See” time, where children are encouraged to pray for friends who don’t yet know Jesus
Safety
All teachers are required to submit to a thorough background check and attend regular training. Each child is given a unique sticker each week to connect children with their parent/guardian for pick-up and as needed during your time here. Your family's safety is important to us!
